Black Eyed Peas: Rumored split denied by will.i.am

Musician Will.i.am has shot down reports that the Black Eyed Peas are preparing to split.

The performer denied claims that the group will release a statement to their fans later this week announcing the break-up.

Will.i.am has now tweeted: "Why do people listen to rumors...Me and @apl_de created the peas...so...from the creators mouth...We are not breaking up...stop the rumors (sic)."

Previously, the frontman shot down reports of a split in September, insisting that the group will never break up.

In July, will.i.am announced that the Black Eyed Peas would go on hiatus following the culmination of their most recent tour.

Fergie, singer from Black Eyed Peas, has since revealed that she is happy to take a career break so that she can concentrate on decorating her home.
