Johnny Depp: First pictures as vampire in 'Dark Shadows' emerge

Johnny Depp's first pictures as vampire Barnabas Collins in 'Dark Shadows' have emerged.

Based on the '60s gothic soap opera involving vampires, werewolves, ghosts and zombies, this new movie is Depp's eighth collaboration with director Tim Burton.

This week, Depp, Burton and co-star Bella Heathcote (Victoria Winters/Josette duPres) have been filming the movie in Devon, UK.

Other performers like Chloe Moretz, Helena Bonham Carter, Michelle Pfeiffer, Eva Green, Christopher Lee, Johnny Lee Miller and Hannah Murray are among the cast for 'Dark Shadows', which will open in cinemas on May 11, 2012.
