Charlie Sheen: To be interviewed in 'Wendy Williams Show'
Actor Charlie Sheen will appear on The Wendy Williams Show for an exclusive interview with Wendy Williams on September 19, it has been announced.
The distressed star will make his debut appearance on the daytime talkshow on the same day that his Comedy Central roast is scheduled to premiere and Two and a Half Men will return to the air without him.
"I am beyond excited and I cannot wait to talk to Charlie. He's easily the hottest topic of the year and I'm thrilled that fans of The Wendy Williams Show will be the first to see and hear everything that's going on in his life, in his own words," said Williams.
The actor's appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, which returns for its third season today, will mark his only scheduled daytime talkshow interview.
Sheen taped his Comedy Central roast in Los Angeles over the weekend. Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane served as roastmaster with Steve-O, William Shatner and Mike Tyson among the roasters.
The performer was fired from 'Two and a Half Men' earlier this year following a public dispute with the show's creator Chuck Lorre.
