Will Young: Used to feel "terrified" of being gay
Actor Will Young has admitted that he felt sexually inhibited until he reached his late 20s.
Will, who releases his new single 'Jealousy' next month, came out soon after winning talent show Pop Idol in 2002.
As Attitude was told by Will: "I was terrified of being gay so I didn't really feel sexual until I was about 26.
"I wasn't really having sex, so I was quite inhibited. I feel like I've reached a place that I'm happy with, worked out things I will never do. It's taken me years to work that out."
The 'Leave Right Now' star also said that he now feels more comfortable in his own skin.
"They say your early 30s are the last chance you have to make a big change in your life. I look at some things now and think, 'No thanks, not interested any more'," he explained.
"I love getting older. These days I look after myself more and don't drink as much, try not to smoke as much. I'm more responsible towards anyone in business or friendships. I think that shift is quite a pleasant one."
Recently, Young revealed that he was mistaken for X Factor runner-up Olly Murs.
