Lady GaGa: Confirms to perform 'You And I' on 'The View'

Popstar Lady GaGa will perform on 'The View' next week.

The stunning star will perform her album track 'You And I' on the ABC daytime show on Monday, August 1, executive producer Bill Geddie has announced.

The Lady's performance will come in the final week of the show's current season. She made her debut appearance on the program in March 2009 performing 'Just Dance', and appeared earlier this year to promote new album Born This Way.

The 'Born This Way' star will also perform on this Thursday's edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, marking her first appearance on the ABC late night show since October 2008. The entire block behind the studio will be shut down for her live performance on the Bud Light Outdoor Stage, which will include a rendition of 'You And I'.

Recently, GaGa filmed the music video for 'You And I' - the fourth single to be lifted from her Born This Way album - in Nebraska.

"The premise of the video is that I've walked all the way from New York City to Nebraska to get [my boyfriend] back," she told US radio station Channel 94 this week.

"I'm walking with no luggage, it's just me and my ankles are kind of bleeding a little bit and there's grass stuck in my shoes and I've got this outfit on - it's real New York sort of clothing as it's woolly."

It has been announced by 'The View' that, it will welcome Beyoncé on Thursday, July 28. The 4 singer will perform new single 'Best Thing I Never Had' and her album track '1+1' during her appearance on the show.
