 Marc Anthony: Objected to Jennifer Lopez's 'too sexy' dresses
Husband Marc Anthony is said to have objected to wife Jennifer Lopez's sexy wardrobe.
The duo, who recently revealed that they plan to divorce, were reportedly having trouble in their marriage for some time prior to the announcement. Lopez was said to have found Anthony to be suffocating, which ultimately led her to split from the HawthoRNe star.
An insider has suggested that Lopez struggled with Anthony over her status as a sex symbol, Us Weekly reports.
"He would make her feel terrible about herself if she wanted to wear something sexy," said the source."He likes her to dress in a demure, 'wife' style. He hated the fact that she was a sex symbol."
The other insider confirmed the reports, confessing that Anthony could often be too controlling.
"Marc has always been a very dominating husband," the second source said. "He wants to control everything Jennifer does."
J Lo is purportedly "devastated" by her split from Anthony, having "exhausted all the possibilities" of keeping their marriage together.
Anthony mocked the news of his divorce on Saturday, while performing at a concert in Colombia, before proceeding to mingle with the female audience members.
