Geri Halliwell: Ginger Spice's music brings back girl from coma
Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice, one of the Spice Girls, gives a new life to a young girl called Jessica Knight through her melodious singing. This is a claim made by a tabloid of United Kingdom. This 14-year-old Jessica Knight was stabbed thirty times and was in coma for 6 days along with stoke due to severe injuries. However when the Spice girls sung her tunes, Knight has shown some sign of improvement. The Geri Halliwell visited the hospital after being contacted by the Knight family during the performance of Spice Girls on January, the very month when the little girl has been attacked.
The mother of this girl ,Ms Jill Walmsley, was bewildered and remarked, "Geri sang a couple of lines from one of the Spice Girls’ songs and Jessica started moving her arms and legs. It was amazing. We were all in fits of giggles because we were so relieved and it was just so funny seeing her legs move to Geri’s singing.
"The next day, she opened her eyes for the first time." Meeting Geri Halliwell also was a dream comes true for the little girl Jessica. Praising the Spice girl, Ms Walmsley further put forth her feelings to the famous newspaper of Britain. She said, '"I only found out Geri was coming 30 minutes beforehand. You just don’t expect to be sitting in the hospital and for Geri Halliwell to walk in. She gave me a big hug and said that Jessica’s story had really touched her.' Moreover Geri Haliwell gave Knight a wristband from the concert of Spice Girls. This helped to act as a proof of their meeting as poor Jessica could hardly recount the memorable meeting with Geri. |
