 Bai Ling: Fined $200 in shoplifting case
Chinese-born Hollywood actress Bai Ling, who had been arrested for shoplifting at Los Angeles International Airport last month, has been found guilty on Wednesday to disturbing the peace and has been ordered to pay a 200 dollar fine.
Police said, the young actress, Bai Ling was detained by an employee in a magazine shop in Los Angeles International Airport February 13 and booked by police on suspicion of shoplifting two magazines and a pack of batteries worth 16 dollars. She was cooperative and admitted to police officers that she hadn't paid for the merchandise.
Bai Ling has featured in numerous films including "The Crow," "Wild Wild West," and "Anna and the King," and in the television series "Lost". |
