Simon Cowell: Reveals habit for gambling

Television personality Simon Cowell has discussed his personal gambling habits at the launch of new gameshow 'Red or Black'.

This fresh new show, which will air in September across seven nights, will involve members of the public taking part in several games of chance with the possible end result of winning £1 million.

The star was teased by Ant & Dec when he claimed that he still took part in the National Lottery and bought scratchcards occasionally.

'Winning the lottery would amount to a "pay cut" for the Syco boss', joked the pair.

The X Factor judge played along, laughing that he always ticks the "no publicity" box when he does gamble.
