 Lindsay Lohan: Wants Alice in Tim Burton's Wonderland
Lindsay Lohan is desperate to star as Alice in Tim Burton's remake of Alice in Wonderland.
The actress is hoping to convince director Tim Burton to cast her in the hotly-anticipated version of Lewis Carroll's classic children's tale.
In a recent interview to a magazine Lindsay Lohan said she is desperate to take on the role of Alice in the project being directed by Tim Burton. She's hoping to get a meeting with him soon in her attempt to secure the role. "I hope they don't want an unknown, I really want this part", she told the magazine.
The new Disney production will feature both live action and performance-capture animation to create the fantasy world.
According to Tim Burton, "It's just such a classic, and the imagery is so surreal. I don't know - I've never seen a version where I feel like they got it all. It's a series of weird adventures, and to try to do it where it works as a movie will be interesting".
Alice in Wonderland, a story of a young girl who enters a bizarre fantasy world after following a white rabbit down a hole, is a work of literary nonsense written by English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll was first published on 1865, considered a classic example of the genre and of English literature in general.

she would be horrible as alice. you need an unknown actress or a girl that is innocent looking like alice is supposed to be. why do you want alice to be a mature girl who doesnt have a very good record for making good movies. they all pretty much suck and do not make the money they should | | | | Reply | | |
