Kirsten Dunst: Checks into Cirque Lodge rehab in Utah
According to reports, Spider-Man actress Kirsten Dunst has checked herself into Cirque Lodge rehab.
Kirsten Dunst, 25-year-old actress has joined Eva Mendes at the Cirque Lodge clinic in Sundance, Utah, where Lindsay Lohan underwent a two-month treatment programme last year.
Her decision to seek help follows a week of hard-partying at the Sundance Film Festival in nearby Park City last month.
Last week, Dunst's spokesperson denied her "erratic behaviour" at the Festival, insisting: "Kirsten is fine."
A source told, Kirsten Dunst, who has played Spider-Man's love interest Mary Jane Watson in all three movies, broke down in tears when she checked in.
"She desperately needed help. She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic. She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears. She is not in a good place right now, but thankfully, she's getting the help she needs."
Last six month, Kirsten Dunst was in tremendous trouble - in August she split from her rocker boyfriend, Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell after an intense six month relationship.
Dunst started her film career at the age of 8 with a small role in Tom Hanks' movie Bonfire of the Vanities, is well-known in Hollywood for her hard-partying.
Cirque Lodge describes itself as one of America's "most exclusive drug treatment centres in a private mountain setting", and also offers treatment for alcohol abuse. |
