Bill Clinton: Plans to throw star-studded party for 65th birthday
Former American president Bill Clinton is reportedly planning a star-studded party for his 65th birthday next year.
Clinton will throw a concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in August 2011 and hopes to secure some of his favourite artists for the event, informs 'Life & Style'.
"He's lining up some of the biggest artists in the world to help celebrate his birthday. His camp is in talks with Paul McCartney, Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z and Bruce Springsteen," a source said.
"Apart from the main concert... Bill's going to have a ton of other events and parties surrounding his big day. Bill's always loved meeting stars. He loves the idea of throwing a huge event for his 65th birthday and inviting all his friends, famous or not."
Yet another insider added of the event: "His party will be the best event of next year; he'll make sure of it."
