 Susan Boyle: Worths £11 million, claims report
Record breaking singer Susan Boyle is worth £11 million, a report has claimed.
The talented performer, who released her second studio LP The Gift last month, is said to have accumulated the estimated fortune since finishing second on Britain's Got Talent last year.
The 'Wild Horses' star has since been nominated for a Grammy and topped the charts worldwide with both studio sets, selling over 12 million records.
Cliff Dane, who compiles The Sunday Times Rich List, said: "Unlike a lot of artists who write songs and have heavy touring commitments, most of Susan's income has come from old-fashioned record sales, mostly CDs as opposed to downloads due to the nature of her fanbase.
"I estimate she is currently worth £11million based on royalties and advances accumulated to date, fees from other sources less tax and including something for the present value of future royalty streams from her two albums."
The Scottish singer recently admitted that she was "overwhelmed but delighted" by her success, adding: "The last 18 months have been like a whirlwind and absolutely fantastic. It's really swept me of my feet."
