 Madonna: Inaugurates own gym in Mexico
Pop diva Madonna has opened a new gym in Mexico City.
The 'Queen of Pop' hopes to help people get fit by founding a mega-gym, reports Hollywood News.
The mega-gym consists of the same assorted gym equipment found in any gym.
Although, what makes it different is the interior design and the format of the classes, each of which were approved by Madonna.
Chris Dedicik, Madonna's partner, said, "She chose the graphics, colours, the machines."
"She has weighed in on the choreography of all the classes and given them a twist to make them more dynamic, more special and to better reflect her style."
She has plans to open more of the gyms in the United States after first developing the gym in Mexico City.
The popstar explained: "Our plan is to use Mexico as a place to fine-tune our brand and then expand it to other countries and, in the long term, develop a global brand that includes the United States."
This gymnasium has been named Hard Candy, after the singer's last album.
The 'Material Girl' added: "It's a sexy name that gives you the opportunity to have fun and to build strength as far as the imagination will allow."
