Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie: Donate $150K to promote adoption

Hollywood's hunk Brad Pitt and his beautiful partner Angelina Jolie have donated $150,000 (£94,000) to promote adoption.

Pitt and Jolie, who have adopted three children together, donated the money in recognition of National Adoption Day, informs Fox.

This charity went to SOS Children's Villages, USA, an organisation that dedicates itself to promoting not only adoption, but also children's rights.

"I am truly thankful that Angelina and Brad understand the power of family, the kind of stable family that SOS holds as an essential part of healthy child development," the CEO of SOS Children's Villages Heather Paul said. "Angelina and Brad know that children's need for a family is universal."

"Together, Angelina and Brad have been eye-witnesses to the great work of SOS Children's Villages in Ethiopia, Jordan, a Darfur refugee camp in Chad, and Haiti", continues Paul.
