Michael Douglas: Still visits son in jail with ill health
The good father Michael Douglas is still visiting his jailed son Cameron in prison, despite his current ill health.
The 'Wall Street' star, who recently completed a course of chemotherapy after being diagnosed with stage four throat cancer, has continued to travel to visit the 31-year-old, who is undergoing a five-year sentence for drug possession and dealing.
Allen Burry, Douglas's representative, told E! Online: "[Michael] is visiting with him as often as he can.
"He's not going every day and not as often as he would like, but he is still visiting with him."
The rep also said that the three-hour trip from Manhattan to Lewisburg, PA, where Cameron is currently serving his sentence, is draining for Michael as he is "recuperating from the [chemotherapy] process".
About Michael's current condition, the spokesman said: "Obviously he has to recuperate and is not going to be out dancing soon, but he is recovering nicely and no more [treatments] are scheduled."
