 Kate Moss: Parties her birthday hard
Kate Moss celebrated her birthday with a marathon party.
Supermodel, style icon and London gal-about-town Kate Moss celebrated her star-themed 34th birthday in the British capital with a gaggle of pals, including Kelly Osbourne, Rolling Stones icon Ronnie Wood, Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay and boyfriend Jamie Hince of The Kills.
The supermodel, Kate Moss - who had vowed to party for 34 hours to mark her 34th birthday on Wednesday (16.01.08) - began drinking champagne with 19 girlfriends at The Dorchester hotel at 2pm after hiring out two floors at a cost of £20,000.
Kate, who wore a star-studded Chanel jumpsuit and sported a gold star over her right eye for the glam rock-themed bash at Punk, danced to 80s pop until 3am.
Kate Moss then returned to The Dorchester's Royal Penthouse with a handful of close friends, who she kindly had booked taxis for. When they got back, Kate was treated to a Diamond Chaser cocktail, a drink created especially for Britain's Princess Margaret in the 60s which contains vintage champagne, cognac, and an unknown special ingredient. Meanwhile, Kate’s bash was not without tears. The birthday girl got all emotional at the Dorchester when she was handed a gift-wrapped silver brooch sent by actor pal RHYS IFANS, who didn’t make the celebration.
According to source, Kate Moss adores Rhys. She calls him the ultimate party animal and he wrote her a note about how much he loves her parties and how great she is. But she was real upset that Rhys and Saddie Frost both failed to make her party.
Kate Moss then moved on to the north London house of her friend Rose Ferguson at 6am, before leaving at 8am and returning with just a few hardcore pals to her new £8million home in St John's Wood, north London, carrying several bottles of vodka. |
