Angelina Jolie may have lost at Critics' Choice Awards but that doesn't mean she wasn't the highlight of the night.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt walked the red carpet hand in hand, fashionably late when they attended the Critics' Choice Awards. The Hollywood couples were the last to arrive on the red carpet and although organisers tried to usher them into the venue, Angelina stopped to pose for photos and answer reporters' questions. Onlookers say Brad, 44, was eager to get inside.
A source said: "Angelina and Brad were the last to arrive. The organisers were shouting, 'The show is starting! Everyone has to come inside now!' But Angelina stopped to pose and answer questions.
Brad and Angie, 32, had to wait to be seated after the first commercial break. Angelina Jolie, decked out in a black, knee-length dress and matching black trench coat, looked hot on the red carpet. And her best accessory, Mr. Pitt, didn't look too shabby either.
After arriving late Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie – who was up for best actress for A Might Heart – killed time by kissing. After being ushered to their table during a commercial break, Pitt and Jolie (in Dolce & Gabbana) continue to make the most of their date by staying cozy all night.
Later in the evening, the couples show off their social skills, greeting friends like Queen Latifah, who won a best ensemble award for Hairspray, and George Clooney, who was up for best actor for Michael Clayton.
Jolie was nominated for Best Actress for her role in "A Mighty Heart" but lost out to Julie Christie, who took home the award for her role in "Away From Her".
The Best Actor award was given to Daniel Day-Lewis for "There Will Be Blood".  |
