Lindsay Lohan: Fired from film
Seems like, there's more trouble in store for Lindsay Lohan.
A director has confirmed he fired Lohan from what was supposed to be her next flick, 'The Other Side', just two days after her dad attempted to stage an intervention.
"Our team simply chose to move on from Lindsay and we'll soon be announcing a replacement," writer/director David Michaels told TMZ.
Lohan was set to play a grad student working on a deserted island.
A few of the sources have also informed that, the film's financial backers were nervous about relying on Lohan and didn't think she was "bankable." (Another source insists to UsMagazine that the film's failure to get financing had "nothing to do with Lindsay. It was because it was an unknown director. All the major stars in this film dropped out.")
Brittany Murphy was also attached before her December death. The movie stars Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morissette.
The 23-year-old actress has not appeared on the big screen since 2007's I Know Who Killed Me. Her next role is in thriller Machete this September.
