The stunning actress, who is married to Tom Cruise, has topped a poll conducted by America's OK! magazine to find the most fashionable celebrity. After which she taking time out to pose for the January cover of In Style magazine.
Katie Holmes’ Posh-inspired cut took home top honors for the Life & Style Magazine Hot Hair Awards. According to mag editors, Kat has the best look, which “shows off her cheekbones”. In recent months, Katie Holmes has transformed herself from her tomboy Dawson's Creek character Joey Potter into a sleek fashionable woman, who is never uncomfortable on the red carpet.
"I wanted a change. I had never had short hair. I thought, Why not? It is so much easier and it's fun to do something different," says Katie about the crop regarding latest hair changes this year.
One OK! writer said: "Katie Holmes has matured from teen queen into a pillar of fashion. This year her style was developed and fine-tuned so much so that she came to be viewed in the same realm as legends like Jackie O, helping her cruise beyond the shadow of her husband and into an iconic realm of her own." She also claimed, "In terms of my career, I'd love to do a period piece."
The high-profile couple attracted a whirlwind of publicity, due to Tom Cruise's couch-jumping declaration of love, a Parisian wedding proposal and the birth of daughter Suri, and a star-studded wedding in Italy.
