Tiger Woods: Ridiculed by Lindsey Vonn for public apology
Tiger Woods’ public apology has drawn mixed reactions from people. While his mother hugged him dearly there are few who mocked at his much hyped apology speech.
The American alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn has mocked Tiger Woods, by saying she too has a sex problem, following the golfers public apology over his extra-marital affairs. Vonn's statements were published in a story written by the author Sean Gregory.
It provides details of the act that took place at the USA House, a space rented by the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association for its athletes, staff, sponsors, families, and other supporters to congregate during the Winter Olympics.
The gold medallist apparently mocked at the hugs that Woods received after his public apology.
Vonn said, "They're like, 'Yeah, you're awesome, you go have that sex.”
The story then goes on to describe Vonn imagining herself in a Saturday Night Live skit, thereby pretending to read a solemn apology from a podium.
In pretension of reading out a solemn script, she adds: ""There's something you don't know about me Tiger, you're like my idol, and I too have a sex problem."
Meanwhile, the storywriter, Gregory, posted a Tweet claiming that the statements were not fabricated. He wrote: "L. Vonn's comments about Tiger Woods were not off-the-record."
