Angelina Jolie: Visits Haitian earthquake victims in Dominican Republic
Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has a kind heart and she rushed to a hospital at Dominican Republic to meet Haitian earthquake survivors.
Dario Manon, a spokesperson for the Dario Contrera Hospital in the capital of Santo Domingo, where dozens of survivors of the Jan. 12 earthquake in neighboring Haiti are receiving medical help,says that Jolie went to the hospital on Monday and spoke with several patients. He told reporters, "She spoke with several children and a Haitian woman who recognized her and requested help."
Angelina Jolie is a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. refugee agency.
Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, a representative of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees and the son of Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa accompanied Angie in the tour.
