Rihanna: Performing for new year's eve in New York

In order to help promote her fourth album 'Rated R', Rihanna will ring in the New Year in New York City's Time Square.

Rihanna is to perform multiple songs on "NBC's New Year's Eve With Carson Daly."

The live two-hour special will also feature a performance by Green Day.
