Julianne Hough and her country music cutie, Chuck Wicks have seperated.

A source told a famous news magazine that they have called it a day. The source said, "This was mutual," "They needed some time apart."

Twenty one year old Julianne met Chuck  while on tour with Brad Paisley in 2008 and the pretty singer said their first date was very superb.

Julianne told another magazine in 2008,"Our first date - it was sushi and then a walk somewhere," "We can't tell you the rest 'cause that's kind of a personal thing, but... We've got all these sentimental things from our first date that are like, kind of everywhere."

After their first romantic outing, the two seemed to live out of each other's pockets.

Julianne said, "We would go on dates everyday 'cause we would be on a new city”. "We would go hiking, we would go biking, we would go do all these different things -- that's the adventurous side of him... We got to see like four different sides of each other every single day that usually would take people six months, eight months to really get to know."

And at the time, Chuck told about his genuine concern not only for Julianne but her family too.

He said, "I love her family, I mean just being around them... I fit right in pretty quick," "I feel very blessed to be a part of it."

Both stars are expected at the CMAs on Wednesday night.
