Mr. Big and his girlfriend, Tara Wilson, are expecting their first child, the actor's representatives said Friday.
"Chris and Tara are very happy and have always agreed to keep what is most personal in their lives private," Chris Noth's manager and publicist said in a statement.
The "Sex and the City" star, Chris Noth, 53, played Sarah Jessica Parker's love interest on "Sex and the City."
Chris Noth will reprise his role as Mr. Big in an upcoming "Sex and the City" movie.
Chris Noth also plays Detective Mike Logan on the TV show "Law & Order: Criminal Intent".
