Paul McCartney: Announces European tour
Paul McCartney has announced his first European tour since 2004.
The Good Evening Europe tour will open on December 2 in Hamburg, where the Beatles honed their sound with live performances in clubs between 1960 and 1962.
The seven-date tour will see the former Beatle take in six cities that includes Paris, Berlin and Cologne and it ends at London's O2 Arena on December 22.
This will be the first time Sir Paul has performed at the O2. His last performance at an rena show in London was in April 2003 at Earl's Court.
McCartney, 67, said: "This is my chance to bring our current show home to where it all began, starting in Hamburg, ending in London and rocking everywhere in between, I'm very much looking forward to ending the year on a high."
Tickets for the gig will go on sale on Monday, October 26.
McCartney plans to release a live album from the U.S. tour, "Good Evening New York City."
He will also be among the performers at a charity concert for Children in Need on November 12, at London's Royal Albert Hall.
