Sir Paul McCartney: Agrees to play charity show
Reportedly, Sir Paul McCartney has agreed to perform at the Children In Need Rocks concert that is due to take place next month.
According to The Mirror, the show that takes place at the Royal Albert Hall in London on November 12, will feature the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Shirley Bassey, Leona Lewis , Snow Patrol, Lily Allen and Muse, apart from the former Beatle.
One of the organisers, Gary Barlow has mentioned that he has a surprise guest lined up.
"I have asked Robbie to perform with us. It would be great to get back together on stage for charity," the Take That singer said.
"Having a big name like Robbie's would definitely help us sell tickets and raise a lot more money for charity."
The show is due to be broadcast on BBC1 next month. |
