Lindsay Lohan: Received order to appear in court
Actress Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to appear before a Beverly Hills judge in connection with a progress report stemming from her drunk-driving case in the year 2007. The court records have confirmed the news.
Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel ordered that twenty three year old actress required to attend the hearing even though such an appearance is not usually mandatory in a misdemeanor case.
A famous celebrity site reported that Lindsay Lohan might have violated an alcohol education program that she required to complete as part of her sentence.
Lindsay Lohan was arrested for driving under the influence two years ago in the month of May. After a stay in rehab, she was caught 2 months later for drunk driving and cocaine possession.
The arrests led her to ultimately serve a mere 84 minutes in jail. She was also sentenced to 10 hours of community service and three years of probation.
The former Disney child star was once considered one of the most promising actresses of her generation. But her career has also dipped many times since 2005 amid legal woes, stops in rehab and cinematic flops.
