Adam Lambert: Releases snippet of first official album
Popular singer Adam Lambert's first post-"American Idol" album isn't due out until November 24, but fans can already hear snippets of one of the epic new songs he has been working on.
A snippet of Adam's "Time For Miracles," the theme song from Columbia Pictures' forthcoming Roland Emmerich sci-fi film "2012," starring John Cusack, surfaces on AOL's Moviefone website on Wednesday.
The song features Adam's trademark soaring vocals, as well as strings and a Led Zeppelin "Kashimir" style riff.
"'Time for Miracles' is a great song and perfectly fits the themes of the movie," Adam said in a statement to Access Hollywood. "I was thrilled to record this song for '2012' and I'm glad I had the chance to help create a unique sound for this movie."
Rob Cavallo, who previously worked with Green Day and My Chemical Romance, produced the cut written by the late Natasha Shneider and Alain Johannes of the rock group Queens of the Stone Age.
The song is available on the "2012" soundtrack which will be released on RCA on November 10.
A representative for Adam Lambert told a famous news magazine that they were not sure whether or not the song would appear on his debut CD.
