Cheryl Cole: Decides to pre-record 'X Factor' performance
Cheryl Cole will pre-record her performance of new single 'Fight For This Love', instead of performing live on this Saturday's results show, 'X factor' bosses have announced.
In her professional career, this will be her first solo performance in front of a crowd.
Last night an X Factor spokesperson has confirmed: "Cheryl will be recording her music performance earlier in the day with a live studio audience to ensure she can fully continue with her judging commitments on The X Factor later that evening."
It is believed that the twenty six-year-old singer will not mime the entire song but will sing live in various parts over a pre-recorded track.
Cheryl's live performance with her Girls Aloud bandmates on the programme, drew a mixed reception from critics, who said the vocals were slightly off in places.
Earlier this week, Cheryl admitted that she felt jittery about her solo debut.
She told Radio One DJ Chris Moyles:'I'm absolutely terrified, the nerves started weeks ago. I love performing but I've sat for weeks judging people, and then I'm putting myself out there to be judged and it's a weird feeling.'
