Whitney Houston: Announces European tour dates
American pop superstar Whitney Houston has announced the dates of her European tour, her first major tour in 11 years.
One of the world's best-selling music artists of all times, Whitney Houston's tour will start on April 8 in Manchester. She will move to Glasgow, Birmingham, Newcastle before closing on April 25th at London's O2 Arena.
Regarding the tour, Houston said, "This is my first full tour since the My Love Is Your Love tour and I am so excited to be performing for my fans around the world after all this time. I am putting together a great show and cannot wait to perform the songs from my new album I Look To You along with some of your favourites".
Houston has sold over 140 million albums and 50 million singles worldwide. She will return to the stage to perform her classic hits, alongside tracks from her new album "I Look To You".
Tickets will go on sale on Friday at 9am, and are priced £50, £75 and £100.
The 46 year old Houston, who battled against drugs and booze, will make her first UK TV appearance in 12 years on the X Factor this weekend.
