Whitney Houston: Set to appear on The X Factor

Whitney Houston is going to appear as a guest on The X Factor and that will be her first UK TV performance in twelve years.

The come back queen's appearance will be on October 18, the day before the UK release of her comeback album I Look To You, which is her first studio album since 2002.

The forty six-year-old is due to spend time mentoring the remaining hopefuls before taking to the stage to give her performance.
 
She said: "It should be a fun night. I am a fan of Simon Cowell's and look forward to meeting him."

Houston has sold 134 million albums and topped the US album chart.

In last month's interview, Houston told Oprah Winfrey how her mother saved her from drug addiction by forcing her into rehab.

Robbie Williams is also due to make an appearance this Saturday.
