Miley Cyrus: Deletes Twitter account
Miley Cyrus has left her fans puzzled by abruptly quitting Twitter.
Reportedly, the pop star got rid of the account where she wrote about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, sadness and her love of "rainbows, John Lennon, and Franklin, Tennessee," as Liam Hemsworth encouraged her to do so.
Apparently, Liam - Miley's co-star in the upcoming film "The Last Song," doesn't have a Twitter account and therefore he wanted her to delete her's "with good reason."
It was a frequently updated and refreshingly frank portal into the teen star's daily life, followed by more than 1.1 million people. But the account for the sixteen-year-old Cyrus is no longer available.
In the aftermath, Miley's fans have flooded Twitter with pleas for her return. They have organized on Twitter under the heading "mileycomeback," which was one of the most popular topics on the site Thursday.
Publicists for Cyrus had not responded to the request for comment on the situation, nor did she verify whether any of the new Cyrus accounts are actually maintained by the singer. |
