 Nick Nolte: Son arrested for DUI
Brawley Nolte, the 23 year old son of American actor Nick Nolte, has been arrested by Santa Monica police on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
Sergeant Jay Trisler said that the son of the actor was driving north on Pacific Coast Highway on Tuesday afternoon when he made a lane change and struck a car in front of him. There were no injuries in the crash.
After seeing signs of impairment, police conducted field sobriety tests and eventually arrested Brawley Nolte. He was freed later after posting $5,000 bail.
Brawley Nolte has appeared in several films. He portrayed Mel Gibson's son in the 1996 film "Ransom".
Nick Nolte was also arrested in 2002 in Malibu and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
