 Dennis Hopper: Admitted to hospital
Legendary actor Dennis Hopper has been admitted to a New York hospital yesterday after developing flulike symptoms. The 73 year old star was in town to promote his TV series "Crash", according to Sheila Feren, who handles publicity for the show.
Sheila Feren said that Hopper was being examined at an unidentified New York hospital on Wednesday afternoon after complaining of stomach ailments usually associated with the flu.
The star of "Easy Rider", "Blue Velvet" and "Speed" was forced to cancel planned appearances for this week on The Associated Press, "Today" and "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon", where he was replaced by Jack McBrayer of "30 Rock".
