 Jude Law: Becomes father of Samantha Burke's child
It's just been two months since Jude Law sheepishly admitted that he was only the father of the child that model Samantha Burke was expecting!
Burke, an aspiring actress, gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday night. The beautiful child weighing 5 pounds, 12 ounces, will be named Sophia.
Law, thirty six, met the twenty four-year-old brunette model while he was filming "Sherlock Holmes" in New York in 2008.
According to Burke's rep Eileen Koch: "Samantha Burke is overwhelmed with joy at the arrival of her beautiful and healthy baby girl, Sophia. The baby and mom are doing wonderful."
A souce reported: "I doubt Jude was there. Besides the financial support, he's not involved."
It is not yet known if Jude has sent congratulatory flowers, a pink nappy set or a check.
In July, the actor mentioned that he was "no longer in a relationship with Burke, but he intended to be a fully supportive part of the child's life."
He has become a father for the fourth time, he has 3 children - Rafferty, twelve, Iris,eight, and Rudy, six, with his ex-wife Sadie Frost.
He's currently appearing on Broadway as the depressed Danish prince in "Hamlet."
