England's Queen Elizabeth II has been named one of the world's most glamorous women by British Vogue magazine.
The December issue includes the 81-year-old monarch on its 50-name "Definitive List of Today's Glamorous Women," calling Queen Elizabeth II "as glamorous in her brogues and headscarf in Balmoral as she is wearing the crown jewels".
Queen Elizabeth II favors conservative but often brightly colored ensembles for her public appearances, accessorized with sensible shoes and handbags.
Vogue noted that glamour "is about how you wear something, not about what you wear. You can't buy glamour, and you can't fake it."
Also on the list: Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Zadie Smith and Helen Mirren, who played the British monarch in the Oscar-winning film "The Queen".
