 Kenny Chesney: Competes for CMA's top prize
Country singers Kenny Chesney and Taylor Swift were amongst the notable names those who are nominated for major Country Music Association Awards this fall.
Kenny Chesney will set a record, if he wins entertainer of the year trophy at the CMA Awards in November. He has already won the trophy four times. He has to compete with Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and George Strait.
Chesney has been nominated for entertainer of the year, musical event and male vocalist.
Keith Urban received four nominations, including entertainer of the year and male vocalist.
List of nominees have been announced in New York on Wednesday. ABC will televise the awards live from Nashville at 7 p.m. on November 11.
