Michael Jackson: Death certificate amended
The Los Angeles County coroner's office has officially ruled Michael Jackson's death a homicide in August. Investigators have said a mix of the powerful anesthetic propofol and another sedative killed the pop singer.
Now his death certificate has been amended to reflect his cause of death as homicide, specifying the death was caused by "injection by another".
Michael Jackson died at his Los Angeles home in June, at the age of 50.
Dr Conrad Murray, Jackson's personal physician, has been interviewed by police but has not been named as a suspect. Dr Murray has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
Jackson is expected to be buried on Thursday evening at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in California.
Only close friends and family members of Jackson will attend the event.
