 LeAnn Rimes: Announces divorce
American singer and actress LeAnn Rimes and her hubby, Dean Sheremet, are getting divorced.
The 27 year old Rimes has posted a message on her Web site on Tuesday announcing that she and her husband of seven-plus years are splitting up for good.
In the message, Rimes wrote for her fans, "After much thoughtful mutual consideration, Deane and I have agreed to move forward with dissolving our marriage".
Rimes and backup dancer Deane Sheremet were married in February 2002. The two met when Sheremet was chosen to dance during Rimes's hosting of the 2001 Academy of Country Music Awards. However in July 2009, the couple separated.
Rimes is currently dating her Northern Lights co-star Eddie Cibrian. Cibrian filed for divorce from his wife of eight years, Brandi, last week.
