Whitney Houston: Launches her sixth album

Finally, Whitney Houston ’s self-imposed seven-year hiatus officially ended today.

It ends with the release of her 6th studio album- " I Look To You."

The album, so far is getting quite strong reviews fom the citics. One of such reviews state: "Seven years after her last album of pop songs, two years after her divorce, Whitney Houston re-emerges with full diva qualifications on 'I Look to You,' released Monday. Most of its revelations aren’t verbal; they’re in the husky, vehement sound of her voice."
 
The singer has now begun her media blitz.

In an article published in a famous magazine, Houston goes into detail about the courting process by her longtime Arista Records mentor Clive Davis to bring her back into his musical fold.

“Clive called me one day and said, ‘OK, are you ready now?’” she told the magazine. “He said, ‘I’m tired of listening to what I’m listening to, and I’m tired of seeing what I’m seeing. I want YOU back.’”
