Ja Rule: Terrifies Sydney
American rapper and actor Ja Rule terrified Sydney motorists.
After months of battling with immigration officials for permission to enter Australia, the rapper Ja Rule landed on Sydney on Thursday. According to a report, after reaching there he was driving through the city on the wrong side of the road trying to catch a harbour view.
A spokesman for the Nova 969 station said that Rule was driving through the city on the wrong side after giving a commercial radio interview at inner-city Pyrmont.
The spokesman also said, "He powered out into Pyrmont with radio host Kate in the front and the show's other hosts Merrick and Rosso in the car and onto the wrong side of the road. The trio were shouting at Rule to get back onto the correct side and a few fellow motorists who were driving correctly on the left, were forced to swerve out of the way. He obviously thought he was still in America. Luckily there was no damage".
Australian immigration is very strict with celebrities who have a criminal record. In 2003, Rule punched a man in Toronto and was taken to court over the matter.
Ja Rule was also arrested in July, 2007 for gun and drug possession charges.
