LaToya Jackson: To co-host 'The View'

LaToya Jackson has been named as a guest co-host on 'The View'.

The singer and the fifth child of the famous Jackson family will replace regular host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who is on maternity leave until mid-October. Jackson has previously co-hosted the ABC daytime talk show in 2003. She will co-host the programme on September 16 and September 18.

Victoria Beckham will also make her first guest appearance on the programme on September 14.

Meghan McCain, daughter of former GOP presidential candidate John McCain, has already been announced as guest co-hosts for September 9 and 10 shows. Former Fox News Channel anchor E.D. Hill is also is confirmed as a guest co-host for September 23 and 24 shows.

Other regular co-hosts of "The View" include Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar (BAY'-hahr) and Sherri Shepherd.
