Heather Locklear: Plans to return to "Melrose Place"
It seems fans of "Melrose Place" are soon going to be pleased to see Heather Locklear back on the show.
Locklear played Amanda Woodward on "Melrose Place" during its original run in the '90s. She is in talks to return to the new CW version, premiering this fall.
She would reprise her role from the original show. Former castmates Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, Josie Bissett and Daphne Zuniga have already signed on.
There have been hints about the forty seven-year-old star being welcomed back to the show. But neither Locklear's spokesperson nor the CW have commented on the rumoured negotiations yet.
About Locklear, executive producer Todd Slavkin had earlier said: "We're huge fans of hers." But he also explained that she is not being hired just because she's starred on the show in the past, "Melrose Place" alumni are being invited back only if they fit into the characters.
Whether Locklear joins the new show or not, "Melrose Place" is still a big part of her life as she has been dating Jack Wagner, who starred as her boyfriend on the show, Dr. Peter Burns.
