 Michael Phelps: Got involved in accident
Olympic swimming superstar Michael Phelps had an automobile accident on Thursday evening in his hometown of Baltimore, Md. A famous news magazine has confirmed this news.
To be specific, 6' 4" athlete Michael was involved in a collision in downtown Baltimore just before 9 PM local time.
Police told WBAL that Phelps' black Cadillac Escalade and a Honda Accord crashed at the East Biddle Street and West Calvert Street intersection.
An unidentified woman who was driving the Honda was taken to the hospital with injuries, however, they are not believed to be serious.
Michael Phelps reportedly remained at the scene as the authorities arrived and was still at the location of the incident almost an hour after the accident occurred. He was not reported to be injured.
