Kim Kardashian is about to prove that blondes really do have more style and ecstasy.

The newly single reality star has debuted her lighter locks when she attended Sunday's Teen Choice Awards in Universal City, Calif.

Twenty-eight year-old Kim wrote in her blogbing site, "This time it's for real, guys! I went blonde!!!"  "I am really loving it!"

Kardashian's new hair-do comes after months of testing different hairstyles and colors with the help of some hairpieces.

She first rocked a long blonde wig for Scott Barnes' book "About Face" in the month of April, then tried out a brunette bob for a magazine photo shooting  in June.

Kim further remarked, "I had been considering it ever since I wore that blonde wig, and I just decided to go for it!!"  "My hairstylist, Clyde Haygood, orchestrated the whole thing, and Rebecca from Goodform salon dyed it!"
