 Britney Spears and 'Twilight' dominate Teen Choice Awards 2009
Fox's Teen Choice Awards 2009 ceremony was held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California on August 9, 2009.
The Pop Princess Britney Spears hit the red carpet of the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday. Everybody was excited to see Britney Spears making her red carpet comeback. She arrived there wearing a nice and very sexy short black mini dress matched with her black shoes with heels. She posed with her very sweet smile for the photographers who patiently waited for her.
The singer received Ultimate Choice Award at the show. Miley Cyrus presented Britney Spears the award. While presenting the award Cyrus told, "I'm a huge fans of hers".
The adolescent vampire drama "Twilight" dominated the Sunday's show with 11 wins, including choice movie drama, romance, liplock, rumble and soundtrack. Actor Robert Pattinson picked up two surfboard-shaped trophies, one for movie drama actor and another for male hottie. Kristen Stewart won the movie drama actress category.
The Teen Choice Awards, which were selected by over 83 million votes cast online, honor celebrities in TV, film, music and sports. Along with several winners, Miley Cyrus and show hosts the Jonas Brothers took multiple trophies at the 11th annual ceremony at Universal Studios Hollywood's Gibson Amphitheatre.
Miley Cyrus won six awards, including Choice Movie Hissy Fit and Choice Movie Actress Music/Dance.
The Jonas Brothers won five trophies, including Choice TV Actor Comedy and Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon Male.
The show was hosted by the Jonas Brothers. They kicked off the show performing on a tiny stage that moved through the audience.
The other big winners are "Gossip Girl" and Zac Efron. "Gossip Girl" won four awards, while Zac Efron won three.
The Teen Choice Awards is scheduled to air on Monday at 8 p.m. EDT on Fox.
