Steven Tyler: Fall puts Aerosmith on hold
The sudden fall of singer Steven Tyler has left his band Aerosmith in real trouble. Its guitarist Joe Perry told a famous radio channel on Friday that he is not sure whether his band is going to resume its summer tour as the singer has recovered from the injuries after a fall from a South Dakota stage on Wednesday.
Perry said during an in-studio interview at WXRX-FM, "We still don't know if we're going to keep the tour up or what," "It's breaking my heart."
Sixty one year old singer was dancing during the performance of "Love in an Elevator" at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally when he fell several feet, apparently injuring his head and shoulder. He was airlifted to a hospital, and there has been no official word on his injuries, though Billboard has reported that his shoulder was broken.
Amongst the band's scheduled dates is an Aug. 28 concert at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park. |
