 Morgan Freeman: Trial date set for lawsuit
The lawsuit of a woman suing Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman over a 2008 car wreck has been set for trial.
Demaris L. Meyer of Memphis, Tenn., the female passenger in the car, sued the actor last February, blaming him for the accident that seriously injured her.
Meyer said that it was Freeman's fault; he was driving her car when it left the road and flipped several times near his Mississippi Delta home on the night of August 3, 2008.
Freeman denies he was at fault, but both he and Meyer were injured in the accident.
The trial has been set for August 9, 2010 before Chief Judge in Oxford.
