Ronaldo: Plans to star in a film
Brazil's three-time world player of the year Ronaldo has agreed in principle to star in a film about his Palestinian child fan who has died in a refugee camp. It was reported on Wednesday.
Sources have highlighted this news of Ronaldo. According to them, thirty two year old two-time World Cup winner will be with his club Corinthians in the Middle East - for a friendly match on September 15 in the Palestinian Territories against fellow Brazilians Fluminense. During the time the film is scheduled to be made in Lebanon.
His agent Fabiano Farah told sports information provider 'El Globo', "Ronaldo signed an agreement in principle last week."
He further continued, "A definitive agreement will be reached in September."
However Ronaldo still has to secure permission from his club son that he can act in the Iranian-directed film.
World Cup scorer champion will play a peace emissary, a role he has already played in reality as in May 2005 he spent several hours during his visit to the Palestinian Territories. |
